InSitech, a non-profit partnership intermediary, supports the US Government's engagement with non-traditional suppliers throughout the innovation / prototype development life-cycle.  Since 2003, InSitech has worked across the Department of Defense to help increase the likelihood of success with cooperative technology activities, concentrating on non-traditional small business.  Small businesses are vital to the country's industrial and technology base as both innovation leaders and proven drivers of competition.  InSitech assists the Government at the outreach level to identify and leverage small business innovation, private sector investment and academia research throughout the prototyping life-cycle (requirements, research & development, testing, and initial integration).  Acting as a U.S. Government intermediary, in a systems integrator capacity this includes the initiation, planning, execution, controlling and closing of all contract activities.

Prototyping Support for the DoD

 


InSitech, Inc. was awarded Section 815 Prototype Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) to increase the likelihood of success in cooperative or joint technology activities with academe, industry, and other Federal/state/local government organizations, with emphasis on non-traditional and/or small businesses. Federal agencies utilize the OTA to obtain and/or advance research and development prototypes, relying on InSitech to:
 

  • Facilitate a rapid contracting process and development of Statements of Work

  • Work with selected subcontractors in a transparent, streamlined process 

  • Create a teaming approach, with the potential for government lab cooperative work

  • Manage negotiated Statements of Work to deliver against milestones

  • Coordinate contract administration and project management

Under the Army’s Enhanced Use Lease Program, InSitech partnered with a leading real estate developer, Advanced Realty Group, to establish the Picatinny Applied Research Campus, creating the opportunity for mission-related tenants to gain a presence at this premier government R&D facility.

DCAP
Deployed Childcare Assistance Program (DCAP)
 

InSitech created the Deployed Childcare Assistance Program (DCAP), in collaboration with a former Secretary of the Army. DCAP’s mission is to improve the quality of life for the family of a deployed Warfighter, as their loved one serves our great country, through attracting charitable donations for military programs and worthy causes.
